Background

Renewables Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean (RES4MED) is a network of international leaders, already engaged in promoting their core business in the SEMCs with a common mission to accelerate the deployment of renewables and energy efficiency solutions and their integration in the local and regional markets.

 

RES4MED pursues its mission through:

  • Direct dialogue with institutions, agencies, utilities and industrial stakeholders of  SEMCs
  • Distributed energy solutions to meet energy local needs, additional and complementary to large scale power plants
  • The promotion of capacity building and training to facilitate  the deployment of RES and EE and their integration in the electricity markets
  • Cover the growing energy needs of SEMCs providing social and economic benefits on the local supply chain
