Our condolences to families and friends of those who lost their life in the ET302 flight accident

It took us a few days to write about the Ethiopian ET302 flight accident, because we were fully immerged in our African events but mostly because we needed some time to elaborate what had happened.

This tragedy affects us very closely: we take the ET302 flight many times a year, flying from Addis Ababa to Nairobi for our Micro-Grid Academy. Some of us had been at Bole Airport just a few hours before the accident. Some of us are from the same hometown of people who lost their lives in the crash. Some of us personally knew them.

It also affects us closely for the reasons why they were on the flight: some of the passengers belonged to international cooperation associations, who just like us believe in development and a better future for Africa and Africans.

It is also with you in our minds and hearts that from today we continue doing what we do. Our deepest condolences go to the families and beloved ones of each passenger. May our 157 brothers rest in peace.
