Elettricità Futura held its Annual Meeting

Elettricità Futura, member of RES4MED&Africa, held its Annual Meeting in Rome on 19th June.

The energy transition of Italian businesses and the challenge of decarbonisation were at the centre of the meeting of Elettricità Futura, the mail association of the Italian electric field. High-level presences included Confindustria President Vincenzo Boccia, Eurelectric President Francesco Starace, and ARERA (Autorità di Regolazione per Energia Reti e Ambiente) President Guido Bortoni.

Among the other topics emerged during the public meeting, one of them was the idea that cooperation between electric power and gas is needed in order to meet the new European sustainability objectives, which fix at 32% the mininum of energy produced by renewable sources by 2030.
