New products and services offered to customers thanks to major investments, Management reinforcement and increase in staff: this is the profile of the new FRIEM presented on the 28th March at its facilities in Segrate.
The launch of the business plan, drawn up in collaboration with a society leader in strategic and organizational consulting, aims at increasing FRIEM’s focus towards its customers, thanks to the development of new products and solutions in line with market requirements.
“It is a long history of passion, inventiveness and expertise started in 1950 by Dr. Angelo Pagliai,– explains Eng. Lorenzo Carnelli, CEO of FRIEM – which continues today with the third generation of the original holding family supported by a selected team of experts and enthusiastic managers, engineers, technicians and workers.”
“The strengthening of the Management and of the personnel (+20%)– adds the CEO – will ensure the achievement of the medium and long term targets through a more efficient management control.”
The business plan will generate a strong acceleration in the fields of Energy and Sustainable Mobility, through substantial investments in means as well as in resources. The growth predicts by 2022 the doubling of the turnover, the enlargement and extension of the testing room, the efficiency and automation of the factories.
Milan is confirmed as the headquarters where FRIEM will continue to develop, design and build all its products, but it is expected that the branch in Brazil and operations abroad will be intensified, with particular attention to the Far East and the USA, with local structures.

Carnelli – by manufacturing and providing after-sales assistance of Power Conversion Systems for Industrial Processes, Heavy Electric Traction, Renewable Energies, Energy Storage and Energy Management Systems.”
With the new 2018-2022 business plan, FRIEM increases the company’s focus on the customer, consolidating its capabilities in key areas for sustainable growth, such as renewable energy and energy management.
