SolarPower Europe and RES4MED&Africa sign MoU to enhance renewable energy cooperation in emerging markets

Rome & Brussels, 1 September 2017 – SolarPower Europe and RES4MED&Africa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their cooperation on renewable energy promotion in emerging markets. The MoU provides a framework for continued collaboration on renewable energy market development and is the result of important synergies between SolarPower Europe and RES4MED&Africa’s strategic focus to develop new markets for renewables.

SolarPower Europe and RES4MED&Africa’s partnership will focus on pursuing dialogue concerning regulation, policy, business and finance for large-scale and decentralized renewable energy in emerging markets, as well as on knowledge and network exchange regarding latest trends in technology, market growth, and business models. ”We are very excited to strengthen our partnership with SolarPower Europe through this MoU. Given SolarPower Europe’s strong leadership, we view SolarPower Europe as a key partner to promote the deployment of renewable energy in new markets.” – RES4MED&Africa Secretary General, Roberto Vigotti.
